Domain 2 — SAP MDG for Business Partner / Customer & Vendor (MDG-BP / CVI)
In SAP S/4HANA, the management of counterparties is based on a unique common data model: the Business Partner (BP). In legacy ERP systems, customer and vendor master data were separate but S/4HANA channels all legal entities through BP roles. The bridge between these structures is the Customer-Vendor Integration (CVI) framework.
